World record and olympic record

New world record! Wow, Jamaican runners are impressive!

After witnessing Usain Bolt with friends run 4x100 in 37.10 seconds we are on the way home and this is a picture from the olympic subway line number 8.
Also Australia made history with the stavhopp/pole vault gold medal as well as an olympic record - 5.96.

An impressive night indeed!

Klüft in the Birds Nest

Carolina Klüft competed in long jump in the Olympics for the first time in her career. I'm sad to say that the result was far from as good as she used to be in heptathlon :(

Karin and Lasse were also in the Birds nest this night. It was a fun night even though the Swedish athlets didn't perform so well.

Tired of table tennis...

Seems that even the biggest sports fan can be tired at the event itself... But I guess I should not be surpriced, I slept on the subway to the event!

Nu kollar vi på badminton i nån universitets anläggning. Kineserna är verkligen patriotiska och buar på alla utom sina egna...
