Jenny's wedding

Vilken fin dag - strålande sol, varmt och skönt! Dags för Jenny och Johans bröllop :) Alla var på plats ute på Djurö - Tessan, Gianni, Emilie, Nini, Micke och Britta.

Toast madamme och brudtärnor i fina klänningar - Marlena, Anna och Anna-Karin. Emilie och Nini undrar nyfiket hur det känns för bruden.


















Efter en liten båttur från kyrkan så var vi framme vid Jennys landställe. Brudparet anlände lite senare i en saab caberiolet :) Hanna och Nisse var också på plats.
Under huvudrätten så var det dags för mig, Emilie och Therese att hålla tal. Det gick helt ok!


















Efter middagen var det dags för dans! Jenny var i gasen, vilket även Britta, Micke, Nisse och Hanna ser ut att vara ;o)

Preparations for Jenny's wedding

Tomorrow is Jenny's wedding and me, Tessan and Emilie have to prepare a speech. Not easy to summarize the latest 20 years in a short, interesting and funny way... a cople of hours and several cups of coffee later we had managed to write down some things at least.

the Owl

On the way to the concert with Magnus Uggla - the Owl :) - with Jimmy and Caroline. We passed some really nice parts of Stockholm, Strandvägen and looking out on the Nybroviken. Days like this one, Stockholm is indeed a very nice city!


















We were all enjoying the music! Really good! The concert was hold at Skansen, a big outdoor museum in Stockholm.

Jump jump!

Jump jump! Kalle, Viktor, Karin and Lasse are jumping a lot :)


















Kalle is having a rest in the nice weather together with Caroline and Cecilia.


















Now it is dad's turn entertain Kalle and Viktor! Fredrik, Karin's cousin, is doing his best on the trampoline.

Swimming

Taking a swim in Mälaren. Nice, but a bit crowded! Everyone wants to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Bockholmen

Our sweet friends took us to this nice restaurant just outside Stockholm - Bockholmen. The suroundings are just great!

so hungry that we got our own bread basket :) not so good, since we were full when we got the main course. but it didn't matter since the bread was delicious as well ;)

Drottningholm - The Royal castle

Karin, Lasse and Cecilia are walking to Drottningholm. The walk takes about an hour from Cecilia's house. Nice to get some excercise during the vacation :)


















Drottningholm castle a little bit outside Stockholm city. In this castle the royal family of Sweden lives. It is nice to take a walk in the park just outside the castle.

SirreBirre and Henrik

I was meeting Siri and Henrik at an Italian restaurant in Stockholm. Siri was glowing just as usual :)

Småland

Karin's father and his partner Karin invited Lasse and his family to come and visit their summer house in Småland. We stayed there for a few days and relaxed, went for walks, swam in the lake and ate a lot of food.
All in all we were 9 people - Karin K, Lasse, Ingmar, Karin L, Maggan, Magnus, Johan, Mia and Olov. The dog Wilma was also having a few days of rest.


















We also visited a flea market, however neither Magnus nor Olov found something of interest.
During the days we had four Volvo cars parked outside the house - hmm seems like Swedish people mainly buy Swedish brands.. or Volvo, is it still considered being Swedish?!






















Wilma is looking out over the lake where Magnus and Ingmar just have taken a swim in the cold water - naked!!! :)

Picking redcurrants in the garden. Quite nice taste, but a bit sour.
We were also looking into the storage and found a lot of old furniture and things. The Vodka Explorer was not bought today...

Time for a bath!

Time for a bath in the sea at the west coast of Sweden.

Miss Månsson in Gbg

When visiting Åsa in Gothenburg we went to Haga, the old parts of the town. Very nice parts with a lot of small shops and cafés.
But we also had the opportunity to visit H&M, which made me very happy but much poorer ;)
